Thanks guys. I will do the exercises you’re suggesting and of course I’ll continue on through the videos from mitch.
How much time a day do you spend practising?
Maybe its cause I’m new to it but I find 10-15 minutes and I have tingling feelings and I have to take a break.

    Take care

    Hi Henk, Hi Hank,

Just wanted to let you guys know that I started practising this evening, very slowly just breathing through holes 1-4 and after a while I could hear a difference.
When I tried a bit faster I lost it again so I went back to slow and there it was again. Felt and sounded much better. So I’ll keep going very slowly forward.

    Thank you both again,

    Tony

    Hi Guys,

that’s really great to get such positive, detailed and helpful feedbacks, thank you very much. And Hank I really appreciate your taking the time to make the audio.
Yes I have this thing of wanting to improve very quickly and being disappointed, e.g. when I listened to the very first lick of the week yesterday and didn’t get it completely right off the bat.
And I have to keep reminding myself just to keep going.
But it’s 8 in the morning here now so I’ve got to get off to work and I’m looking forward to getting some practice in later in the day.

    Take care and thanks again

    Hi Ian,

Absolutely, on all counts. I’m presuming that it is me who needs to change and not the harmonica, but it’s always good to get confirmation, at least for me thats a great help.
I’m getting something today by breathing in a strange way through the front of my mouth, which works easily when working on one hole only, but as soon as I start the clown movement
that all breaks down. And yes I will definitely be making some good investments in the coming weeks.

    Thanks for your reply,
    Have a nice day

    Tony
