    Mitch,

what harp do you use for Smokin’ and Drinkin’? I am trying to play the fill-in between ca. 1:35 and 2:23, but get fooled by my ears. My app recognizes the tune as D-minor. Do you use a C harp and 3rd position? I am a little lost.

BTW: 5 minutes later and getting better recognizing the 3rd position!

today I tend to say: A-Harp 2nd position, with a little overblow – otherwise the lick’s flow isn’t smooth enough (there are to many blow, draw sequences otherwise)
    I’ll tackle it further…

    can’t be 2nd position – would be E major
    is it 12th position?
    puzzling further…

Hi Udo, The electric version on YouTube is in A and I’m using a D harmonica in second position. I hope that helps? 🙂
