As most of you know I am currently building a bigger and better website for us, called HarmonicaTime.com. I anticipate this website will be ready in 4 weeks time, and once it is ready, all members of mitchgrainger.com will automatically have membership there.
Along with an updated step-by-step course, ancillary lessons and more licks, harmonicatime.com will focus on a lot more jam tracks, and a new section of play-a-longs videos. This will bring even more enjoyment for everyone, with more fun things to play on the harp, while practicing and progressing through my step-by-step course.
These jam tracks and play-a-longs will be categorized by genre and difficulty level [beginner, intermediate, advanced] and should provide a really fun learning tool, and just a fun way to pass the time. There will be traditional tunes, blues standards, some bluegrass and my own compositions too.
Please click on the preview post and let me know what you think in the comments. I put together a couple of simple ones to give you the idea 🙂
Your feedback now will really help me (and you) in my quest to build the best harmonica learning resource on the web!
Stay safe and keep on harpin’!

Whhoooaaa…! You have been busy indeed, Mitch!!
Well I was already impressed with the old model having found it to be the most interactive, supportive, and clearly explained site on the web….but this…wow did you just step it up! That is so visually pleasing and easy to understand. This new model for the step by step course is so supportive. Coming up against a difficult piece of music with new techniques involved can sometimes feel daunting. I think this new model will be encouraging for students and will really help build confidence. It actually feels as if you are in person with a teacher walking you through each step of the piece. And being able to have it so interactive from the very beginning with “she’ll be coming around the mountain” is so cool! When I first learned that song in the course, I loved playing it faster and faster and now doing it along with you in this model is really fun. Great name as well…two thumbs up all across the board…looking forward to getting to be part of it! Congrats!March 29, 2020 at 4:57 am #13675HenkParticipant
This is a huge difference and i understand the loads of work that you have and still are putting in to this thanks in advance for making this happen.
I’m really looking forward to your new website can’t wait to explore all the new material and new ways to learn the harmonica.
The Play-A-Long is definitely a big improvement, it’s more visual this way.
Great job Mitch 👍🎶🎶😎
