Hi everyone im Dave and a new member. Bought a harmonica last week. I had played a little bit a few years ago but got busy with other stuff. I can play guitar and piano. Loving the harmonica again so far. I actually was online shopping for a mini keyboard cos i felt like playing piano again… saw the john lennon signature edition harmonica and had to have it seems I’m a huge beatles fan! I figured it would be too nice to play that one lol (and i was right its beautiful) so i bought a hohner silver star too but i have already upgraded to a marine band deluxe! Just waiting for that to arrive lol.
Anyway look forward to getting seeing u on the boards!

    Hey Dave,

Good to have you on Board!

Nice to see your first harmonica purchase inspired by the Beatles too… They helped create the guitar playing craze of the 60’s, and turned small guitar manufacturers into industrial juggernauts when they rose to the top of the pop charts. So, it’s nice to see some of the love going the Harmonica’s way!

All the best with the course, and if you have any questions, there the support forum and general harmonica discussion forum too!

Hi Mitch thanks so much for the welcome.
Yeah the John Lennon harmonica is very nice. It reminds me of the piano he recorded imagine on… even though its a harmonica lol. I’m just keeping it in the box and maybe i’ll display it in a clear acrylic case or something. Would be nice if they did just a regular silver case one with his signature or something too. Im a sucker for beatles stuff lol.
Yes yr right about the guitar thing too. I own a rickenbacker 325 like John’s and it was very hard to get… made even harder because i’m left handed!
