I am still struggling with vibrato on the draw. Should I move onto lesson 16(just came up) and come back to vibrato or continue practicing until I feel comfortable with it?

    Philip,

I think it’s OK for you to move on without bad feelings. You can practice vibrato in every lick that comes up and even revisit the ones you already played . Over time you’ll feel more comfortable with it.

    Have fun!

Thanks, vibrato on the draw, I’m habeing alot of trouble with. It is hard to keep it going. I can tell I’m getting faster but, very hard to keep it up for any length of time.

Sometimes it helps to change to a harp in a lower key (A-Major) to get things working. Lower harps allow at least for me a more relaxed and controlled air flow.
Perhaps you give it a try.

Vibrato is one of those skills that has never really sunk in well with me. I can do it, but I have always felt I could be better. That’s not stopped me enjoying playing or getting better in other ways though. I wouldn’t feel like it was a mistake to keep it in the back burner for a bit.
