Hi Udo!

He is playing a blues harp 90% of the time. One way to tell the difference is by listening to the bends. You can’t bend very well on a Chromatic harmonica.

Like most blues harp players he only brings out the Chromatic Harmonica for use in minor blues tunes using the dorian mode trick I teach in step 29.

A quick google of his name revealed this list of his tunes and associated harmonicas (credit to billy_shines on the MBH forum). I haven’t checked this list for 100% accuracy, but it will give a good indication of what he uses..
